This evening's event was dinner and a movie with the three generations of women: Mom, Grandma, and myself. We saw March of the Penguins, a documentary produced by the French and narrated by Morgan Freeman. It was actually really good! We learned all kinds of interesting stuff about the migration and "love affairs" of emperor penguins in Antartica. We saw it at a new theater in Beaverton, where the seats were plush and reclin-able. Very nice.
After the movie we had an early dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, Bugatti's. The weather was again lovely so we sat outside for our delicious salads and sandwiches. Then I dropped off Mom and Grandma, and it was sad to say goodbye to both of them for a couple years. It does sound like Grandma might come over sometime to see us - hope so!
