Saturday outing in Oxford

My gift to David for his birthday was a new camera, and on Saturday we went into town to take some photos and try it out. I brought my camera along for comparison. We had a really fun time, and the sun even came out for us most of the time.

We started out at St. Mary's Church:




then walked by the Radcliffe Camera, Bodleian Library, and All Souls College...


Then through the Covered Market, where there were poor headless and footless deer hanging everywhere...



Had lunch outside the Ashmolean Museum by the Randolph Hotel:


We had "Christmas cracker" hot wraps from our favorite sandwich shop and they were so delicious... turkey, stuffing, cranberries, potatoes, swede, and red onions (in a pile next to me).

Went in the Ashmolean...

And we walked home through the park as the clouds started to gather for a good rainstorm.
