Scotland!

Greetings from beautiful Scotland! We have been wanting to come here for years (somehow it never happened during our time at Oxford) and are so thrilled to have finally made it. We saw many beautiful landscapes and abbey ruins yesterday and this morning, and are now happily settled in a great hotel in Edinburgh.

I am really enjoying being back in this wonderful city, revisiting some favorite places from my student days 10 years ago(!), and sharing it all with David. He likes it a lot so far, too. The weather has even been surprisingly sunny and warm today. Both of us do not enjoy the steep hills, however, and we are totally beat! So I'm going to have to crash - will try to post some photo highlights tomorrow.
