We have just learned that the Oscars will be on live over here, yay! It will be narrated in German and the red carpet show doesn't start until midnight (awards at 1:30am), but it's way better than no Oscars! Here's some brief opinions on the one's we've seen: Go Juno! That is such a good show. I would be surprised if it won Best Picture since it's a comedy, but I can hope. Michael Clayton is also very good.
No Country for Old Men is well-acted, but basically a bunch of senseless violence. Atonement is pretty to look at and mostly well-acted, but basically a bunch of senseless drama. Thumbs down on both.
